PHRPM Training & Certification Program
Professional in Human Resource Project Management (PHRPM) training and certification program is designed for HR professionals who are either working in a management role, or are looking forward to excelling in their career in HR. While HR professionals are well-versed in their respective functional areas such as talent acquisition, training & development, compliance, compensation & benefits, etc., they are typically not exposed to the area of Project Management, which requires a different toolkit and skill-set. Technological innovation and automation are changing the ways organizations carry out their Human Resources operations and HR Managers are increasingly becoming involved in the area of HR projects. PHRPM training program enables HR managers to effectively manage HR projects from start to finish, providing them with technical as well as soft skills.
Naburva's PHRPM certification program is reviewed and approved by CPHR Alberta, CPHR Nova Scotia, and CPHR BC & Yukon for 20 CPD hours. In addition to that, Naburva is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP® recertification activities. The recognition of our certification by provincial member associations of the HR professional standards organization of the highest standing in Canada, and the global HR certification provider of the stature of SHRM, is a testimony to the quality of our program.
Content and Teaching Methodology
The content of the course is based on PHRPM Body of Knowledge. Course will be delivered through a series of lectures, which will be accessible online. Naburva recognizes the value of flexibility for learners across the globe. We realize that each individual has a different learning pace based on their unique schedule. Hence, the course can be completed at a flexible pace, without any restrictions on the time frame.
Award of Certification
PHRPM coursework includes three graded assignments which must be completed in order to qualify for the certification. The assignments constitute 20% of the final grade.
At the end of the coursework, PHRPM candidates will be required to complete a project. Candidates must complete the final project which weighs 40% of the final grade.
In order to qualify for the PHRPM certification, candidates will have to take an online exam of 75 multiple choice questions, which constitutes the remainder of 40% of the final grade. This is an open-book exam, which will be based on the application of project management tools and techniques to given scenarios. It should be noted that the objective of the course is not to see how good a candidate can memorize training material; rather, the idea is to enable professionals to apply the appropriate tools in a given situation.
A candidate has to achieve a minimum of 70% score on final grade in order to qualify for the certification. Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a prestigious certificate through mail. Qualified candidates can use the title of PHRPM with their names.
A learner can enroll in PHRPM training & certification program for a one time fee of $950 (CAD).
