Naburva Business Solutions Inc. was founded in 2019 in Calgary. Naburva is a member organization of Calgary Chamber of Commerce and proudly serves its clientele in Canada and overseas, providing them with consulting and training & certification services.

Team

 

Kashan Awais, MBA, CPHR, SHRM-SCP, CTMP, ICBB

President & CEO

Kashan holds an MBA from HEC Montreal. He also holds the designations of CPHR (Chartered Professional in Human Resources), SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) and CTMP (Certified Talent Management Practitioner), as well as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) certification.

Kashan has more than two decades of work experience in a variety of work settings. His expertise extends to providing expert solutions to companies ranging from regional up to global Fortune 500 enterprises. He has also served on various boards as an Advisor. He has also mentored various HR professionals participating in CPHR Alberta Mentorship Program.

Syed Jawwad-ul-Hassan, BS, MS, LSSBB

Regional VP - NLSS Association, Brand Strategist

Jawwad holds a master’s degree in business from LUMS, Pakistan. He is a certified lean six sigma black belt from SQI, Singapore. In addition to that he holds ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 Lead Auditor certifications from RICI, Canada. Jawwad has 7+ years of experience with small & medium businesses operating in Pakistan, the UK, and Canada. He is a member of the Punjab Information Technology Board, providing business development consultancy to incubated startups. He has spoken on business topics at academic institutions like the University of Engineering & Technology, and Regional Plan 9.

 

Tarun Arya, MBA, MSc, NCBB

Regional VP - NLSS Association

 

Tarun is the Regional Vice President of Naburva's Lean Six Sigma Association and is a process improvement enthusiast. He is currently working as a Business Process Advisor with FortisAlberta. In his current role he applies lean six sigma principles on a day to day basis to achieve operational excellence. Prior to this he worked as Management Consultant in Process Improvement vertical. He holds an MSc in Sustainable Energy Development from University of Calgary, and an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. He brings more than 10 years of work experience Strategy and Operations, Leadership, and Process Improvement and Execution. These are some of the tangibles about him, apart from this he is an epicurean of street food, hiker, crypto trader, and dog lover.

 

 

 

Tetiana Safonova,,MSc, CPHR (AB), CHRP/CHRL (ON), PHRPM® 

Project Consultant

 

Originally born in Ukraine Tetiana has joined her interest in business and people management in her career path. She holds her Master of Science (MSc) in Finance, in addition to a post graduate degree in Human Resources with a variety of professional designations which she received in Toronto, ON and Calgary, AB. Tetiana has over 8 years of professional experience in Human Resources, and she has been working with the clients from Oil and Gas, Mining, Foresting, Real Estate, Casino & Entertainment, Agricultural, HVAC and healthcare industries.

 

Her core areas of work include providing HR Consultation to the management teams, acting as a Partner, coaching them on Human Resources/Labour Relations cases, conducting workplace investigations, delivering training workshops as per the business needs, handling individual and group employee grievances including but not limited to workplace favouritism, bullying, discrimination, harassment, and unsafe work conditions.

At this stage of the career Tetiana is focusing on getting more experience, gaining her PRHPM certificationd in her free time she volunteers helping people fleeing the war in Ukraine and coming to Canada

Arif Ali Jalbani, MBA, MS

Arif has been working as Dy Director ORIC promoting External Linkages, Innovation & Commercialization while being associated with the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at Muhammad Ali Jinnah University Karachi. He has obtained a Master's of Science from Eastern Illinois University, USA, with a concentration on Sustainability, and an MBA from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. He possesses more than 18 years of diverse experience as a Business Operations expert, Researcher, and Academician. 

 

His key areas of work include operational planning & management, financial planning & management, fundraising / grants exploration, Human Resources planning & management, governance / board support, risk management, policy reform & community development, and business incubation & startup policy making.

Shaela Safwan, BE, MS, MBA, PHRPM®

Shaela Safwan is the founder and CEO of Management Excellence Consulting. She has a work journey of two decades in the Telecom Sector of Pakistan and has worked on diverse leadership positions including the Regional Head of Quality Assurance role in PTCL.

Shaela is offering business management solutions & capacity building programs to the Corporate World. Shaela is an active member of multiple Engineering forums including Pakistan Engineering Council, IEEE-Pakistan and Institution of Engineers Pakistan. She is the Lead Role of the Young Engineers Council Femina wing (YEC-Pakistan) to uplift the professional youth.
She is also serving on the Advisory board of HEIs and Business Schools to bridge the Industry-Academia gaps and build an entrepreneurial eco-system to stabilize the economic development of Pakistan.

Shaela holds an Engineering Degree from UET Lahore, MPhil in Project management and EMBA from LUMS Pakistan. She is also a certified LEAN Six Sigma Practitioner and ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor. Her areas of Expertise include Strategic transformation through Applied AI, Industry4.0 , IoT and business process management.

Momina Dar, MBA

She draws from over a decade of experience of working with the development and humanitarian sector in senior management positions and has studied disciplines of self-awareness, human behavior, leadership, success, organization development, and spirituality. Momina dreams of bringing principle-centered leadership to the world to unleash hidden potential. Momina has trained over 100 leaders based on the principles of character ethics. Momina holds international certification in personality profiling from AMA, USA, trained in ICF Coaching standards from the United Kingdom, and is trained on CISM.
